This project involved the installation of a complete Vaillant air source heat pump system in Petts Wood for a recently renovated 3–4 bedroom home, designed to provide efficient heating, dependable hot water, and improved day-to-day comfort for the homeowner.
At the heart of the system is a 7 kW Vaillant air source heat pump, paired with a 250-litre Vaillant cylinder for domestic hot water and a 40-litre Vaillant buffer tank to help support stable and efficient system operation. We also installed a Vaillant underfloor heating pump set with mixing, allowing accurate temperature control across the underfloor heating system.
To further enhance the installation, the property was fitted with a Kinetico water softener, helping to reduce limescale and protect the system over time. For convenient heating control and flexibility throughout the home, we installed two Vaillant controllers: VR 720f and VR 92f.
The internal installation features a neatly arranged plant room with carefully assembled copper pipework, integrated controls, and high-quality hydraulic components. Externally, the Vaillant outdoor unit was mounted on a dedicated base to provide a stable and professional finish.
As this project was photographed before final completion, pipe insulation had not yet been installed at the time of the photos.
